The Group Policy Editor in Windows is a feature exclusive to the Pro and above editions. However, it is possible to take advantage of Group Policy settings even if you have Windows 10 Home or Windows 11 Home. There are several tutorials on how to enable the Group Policy Editor in these versions, but unfortunately they don’t actually work as intended. While you can change the settings, they don’t register on the back end. Instead, you can use a third-party program called “Policy Plus” which is a replacement for the Group Policy Editor and actually works on any version of Windows.
